The Dynafit TLT7 Expedition is a lightweight touring boot built around a Grilamid shell and a carbon-reinforced Grilamid cuff. It uses a 102mm last, Master Step tech fittings, and a Pomoca Climb sole, and the men's version weighs 1112g per boot in a size 27.5. It works with tech bindings only.
The trade-off is clear: this boot is built for going uphill efficiently. It has a huge range of motion and very little weight, but it will not match the power or dampness of a heavier four-buckle boot on firm or variable snow, and its Speed Nose toe needs an adapter for automatic crampons.
It suits ski tourers who measure days in vertical gained and it comes in men's and women's versions. Skiers looking for one boot for the resort and the backcountry will find more support elsewhere.
The Ultralock 3.0 closure runs the upper buckle, the cable-actuated lower closure, and the ski/walk switch from one spot. The cuff offers 60 degrees of rotation with 15 or 18 degree forward lean settings. The Custom Ready liner is heat moldable, and the women's liner is cut slightly lower in the cuff. We think the TLT7 Expedition is a great choice for fast, efficient days where every gram counts.
Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Half Sizes
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
