The Diamond 3 is One Way's cross-country ski pole, built with a fiberglass shaft, a cork grip and wide, supportive exit straps. A pair weighs 13.9 oz, and it comes with 11 mm standard XC baskets that work both on the track and off it.
The trade-off of a fiberglass shaft is a little more weight and flex than carbon. In return it is tough and forgiving, and it keeps the price where a first pair of poles should be.
It is for skiers getting into cross-country, whether that means classic laps at the touring center or easy loops through the woods.
