The Petzl Swift LT is a compact rechargeable headlamp that puts out up to 380 lumens in a wide, uniform beam and weighs about 43 g. It runs on an 880 mAh lithium-ion battery that charges by USB-C in about three hours, and it is IPX4 rated for rain.
The trade-off is that it is built small and light rather than for maximum distance. You get 7 lumens for up to 60 hours, 100 lumens for 6 hours with a 2-hour reserve, or 380 lumens for 2 hours, plus a red light and a strobe.
It is for runners, ski tourers, hikers and anyone who wants a light that fits in the palm of their hand. A lock function keeps it from turning on in your pack, and a battery indicator shows the charge each time you switch it on or off.
The washable, replaceable headband has reflective thread along its length, and it works with Petzl's Helmet Adapt and Bike Adapt 2 mounts. The charging cable is not included.
We think it is the perfect headlamp for dawn patrol skins up Mansfield and evening runs on the trails.
