Salomon X Ultra 5 Mid GTX W's SS26

The Salomon X Ultra 5 Mid GTX is a women's waterproof hiking boot with a GORE-TEX membrane, an upper of PU-coated leather and textile plus abrasion-resistant Matryx made with Kevlar, and an advancedCHASSIS insert molded into the outsole for lateral support. Each boot weighs about 14 oz.

The trade-off is that this is a full-day hiker built for support and protection, not a minimal trail shoe. It has an 11 mm drop and a 22 mm forefoot, 33 mm heel stack of EnergyCell EVA, so it feels stable and protected rather than low to the ground.

It is for hikers who spend full days on rocky, technical and mixed terrain. The All-Terrain Contagrip rubber outsole grips on wet, dry, hard and loose ground, and a molded OrthoLite sockliner and soft, breathable lining keep it comfortable.

It is a regular-width fit. SensiFit cradles the foot from midsole to laces and Active Support wings adapt to your foot's shape and movement. Choose your usual hiking boot size.
