Men's Vertical Hood 25/26

Meet the Vertical Hood—the unsung hero of your layering system. As cozy as your favorite puff jacket but with the stretch and breathability to keep up when you're charging uphill, this piece defies the usual rules of insulation. Designed with ski touring and high-output mountain missions in mind, it brings together comfort, performance, and packability in one sleek, minimalist package.

The magic lies in Primaloft® Active, a next-gen fabric engineered to mimic the adaptive warmth of animal fur. It traps heat with surprising efficiency for its weight while releasing excess moisture in real time, so you stay dry and comfortable even when your pace picks up. The result? A jacket that insulates like a beast, breathes like a breeze, and dries in a flash.

Strategic Polartec® Alpha® Direct panels amplify thermal regulation, while stretch grid fleece side inserts allow total freedom of movement—ideal for scrambling, skinning, or layering under a shell. A half-length front zip cuts down on bulk while giving you just the right amount of ventilation when you need to cool off fast.

A soft microfleece chin guard protects against zipper chafe, and a low-profile hood and elasticated cuffs seal in warmth without getting in your way. Need to stash essentials? A concealed zippered chest pocket keeps small items secure and accessible.

When the sun comes out or the summit push begins, this jacket compresses down small enough to vanish into your pack—until the next storm rolls in.
