The Atomic Bent Jr 110-130 with C 5 GW bindings brings the playful spirit of Atomic's Bent collection, inspired by skis developed with Chris Benchetler, to younger skiers. It uses a lightweight Densolite core for a smooth, forgiving feel, Dura Cap construction for durability and easy handling, and an All Mountain Rocker with tip rocker for easier turn initiation. The included C 5 GW binding has a 0.75 to 4.5 DIN range.

The honest trade-off is that this is a soft-flexing ski aimed at beginner to intermediate kids, so stronger, heavier juniors may outgrow its forgiving feel quickly.

It is for young skiers progressing on groomers who are also starting to explore off-trail terrain and want a ski that keeps things playful.

The Bent Jr is a youth unisex ski with a narrow waist, a soft flex and a hybrid sidewall that mixes cap and sandwich construction. The C 5 GW binding is lightweight and offers dependable retention for junior skiers. Bring your skier by the shop and we will help pick the right length in the range.

We think it is a great first freeride-style ski that makes learning fun and helps kids build confidence all over the mountain.

This guide is for alpine (downhill) skis. Ski length depends on your height, your ability, and how you like to ski. Use this chart as a starting point, then talk to us about the ski itself: rocker, width, and turn shape all change how long a ski feels.

Quick Rule

  • Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
  • Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
  • Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
  • Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.

Adjust For

  • Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
  • Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
  • Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
