The Bishop BMF/3 is a telemark binding for NTN boots, built from metal and plastic with an alpine-style step-in. It attaches to the boot at the heel rather than under the middle of the foot, and it includes a touring mode, climbing bars and removable brakes.
The trade-off is release. The BMF/3 is a non-release binding, so it prioritizes a solid, powerful connection to the ski over safety release. Skiers who want a releasable tele binding should look at a different design.
It is built for telemark skiers who want a strong, precise feel in the resort and the backcountry, and who like the simplicity of stepping in like an alpine binding.
It works with NTN boots only. This one has a 100 mm brake; match the brake to your ski's waist width.
We love the BMF/3 for tele skiers who want a binding that drives a modern ski hard and makes free-heel skiing at Stowe feel effortless.
