ATK Kevlar Core Leash Double Carabiner

This is the double carabiner version of the ATK Kevlar Core Leash, a lightweight safety leash for brakeless touring setups. The leash has a Kevlar core with high tensile strength, about 120 kg of breaking load, inside a flexible polyurethane spiral coating, and it stretches to a maximum of 60 cm.

The trade-off of a leash is one more thing to clip at every transition. On a brakeless setup that is a small price, since a ski that gets away in deep snow or on a steep face can end the day.

It is for ski tourers and ski mountaineers running light bindings without brakes who want a carabiner at both ends for quick clipping at the binding and the boot.

The spiral coating is designed to reduce the risk of snagging on branches or rocks, and ATK says the leash works with all ski boots.
