Another Chris Benchetler ski and 110 is the waist. Powder Rocker at 25/50/25 over a poplar Light Woodcore, with HRZN Tech bevelling tip and tail for around 10 percent more surface area at lower weight. Dura Cap sidewalls and a glossy topsheet. Dimensions run 131/110/122 at 164 to 134/110/125 at 188, radius 14.4m to 19m, about 1750 grams per ski at 180.
At 110 underfoot with rocker at both ends this is not a firm snow ski and we will not sell it as one. The rocker shortens the effective edge, so a boilerplate morning feels vague. In return it pivots, slashes and lands switch better than almost anything its width.
For the skier who plans a season around storms and still wants fun between them. If you want one pair for a whole winter here, the Bent 100 or the Maverick is the better call.
It skis true to length. Size down for tight trees and quicker handling, up for open terrain and speed.
When it actually dumps, this is the ski everyone in the shop is fighting over.
This guide is for alpine (downhill) skis. Ski length depends on your height, your ability, and how you like to ski. Use this chart as a starting point, then talk to us about the ski itself: rocker, width, and turn shape all change how long a ski feels.

Quick Rule
- Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
- Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
- Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
- Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.
Adjust For
- Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
- Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
- Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
