Hawx Ultra XTD 115 BOA W 26/27

This is the stiffest boot in Atomic's women's Hawx Ultra XTD line, at 115 flex on a low-volume 98mm last. Prolite construction wraps the foot and reinforces the zones that transfer power. The lower shell closes with a BOA bi-directional dial rather than buckles, the firm Mimic Platinum Liner heat-moulds, and Memory Fit customises shell and cuff. Free/Lock 4.5 locks cuff to shell with adjustable forward lean, and the cuff gives 54 degrees of range.
Ninety-eight millimetres is narrow, and that is the whole proposition. If your forefoot is average or wide this is the wrong starting shell, no matter how good the boot is. It is also a freeride touring boot rather than a light one.
For women who ski hard beyond the resort boundary and want real downhill power uphill. Mostly-resort skiers will fit better in the Hawx Prime.
Sizing is by full shell, 24/24.5 being one boot. Memory Fit lets us move the shell and cuff, and the AFS tongue adjusts for instep height.
For a narrow foot that wants to charge, there is very little else at this flex that still walks properly.
Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Half Sizes
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
