The Shift² 13 MN is the middle of the Shift range, with a release ceiling of 13 on the same hybrid platform: pin toe for the up, full alpine toe for the down. Micro AFD with an aluminium Power Block reinforces the boot interface for 30 percent more lateral stiffness, larger toe wings improve shock resistance, an oversized toe lever adds stability, the brake lever locks more reliably, and the climbing aid adds 4mm of lift. As with every Shift, you pay in weight and in transition time for the downhill performance. It is more binding to carry than a tech setup, and the changeover is something you learn rather than something that is instant.

For freeride tourers who want alpine-grade retention at the top of the line. If your settings sit well under 13, the Shift² 10 saves you money for the same platform.
