BCA Snow Study Kit 25/26

The BCA Snow Study Kit packs five snowpack assessment tools into a durable fabric carry case with dedicated pockets and slots. Inside is a slope meter with a compass for aspect and a 0 to 60 degree angle range, a 6 x 4 inch polycarbonate crystal card with a metric grid, 2mm grid, and beveled edge, an analog thermometer with a sling for hanging on a ski tip, a 2 meter ECT cord for cutting through snow and crust during extended column tests, and a 15x magnifying loupe with closed sides for wind protection. BCA designed it with North America's leading avalanche educators and backs it with a 3 year warranty.

The honest trade-off is that these are observation tools. They gather information, and good decisions still depend on training and experience to interpret what the snowpack is saying.

This kit is built for avalanche course students, guides, ski patrollers, and backcountry skiers who dig pits and want consistent, organized tools.

There is no sizing involved. The case keeps everything together so it slides easily into a pack.

We think this is a smart, complete kit for anyone serious about learning the snowpack.
