The Atris Birdie brings the iconic Atris big mountain platform to a women's size run, back for 26/27 with a new graphic. It is 105 mm underfoot, built on a poplar wood core with fiberglass laminates and ABS sidewalls all around. The 172 measures 136/105/122 mm with a 19 m radius and weighs 1800 g per ski.
The trade-off of a firm, constant flex is that it rewards a strong, confident skier. It is damp and controlled underfoot, and skiers looking for a soft, playful ski will want something more forgiving.
It is for women who want an everyday big mountain ski that excels in powder and still behaves impeccably in all conditions. A double rocker with a classic medium camber underfoot keeps it accessible and versatile, and the fiberglass adds torsional stiffness and edge hold without bulking up the swing weight.
The recommended mount point is 8 cm behind center. Come see us and we will help you choose the right length.
We love the Atris Birdie for women who want one ski to charge the whole mountain, powder days included.
This guide is for alpine (downhill) skis. Ski length depends on your height, your ability, and how you like to ski. Use this chart as a starting point, then talk to us about the ski itself: rocker, width, and turn shape all change how long a ski feels.

Quick Rule
- Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
- Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
- Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
- Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.
Adjust For
- Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
- Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
- Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
