The Helio 22 is a jack-of-all-trades touring pack that carries everything you need for short, efficient tours. It holds 22 liters, weighs 840 g and is made from 840 denier, 100% recycled nylon.
A separate avy tool compartment with a large zippered opening stores the shovel blade up, which maximizes space and makes access easier, and the main compartment opens from the top with a two-way zipper for side access without taking the pack off. The trade-off is size: it is built for efficient day tours rather than long days that need extra layers.
It is for touring skiers who want a simple, sleek pack for dawn patrol and quick laps. The breathable mono mesh back panel with wave foam sheds snow and breathes on the skin track, and there is a dual piolet attachment, removable rope carry, A-frame ski carry, removable diagonal ski carry, removable snowboard carry and a deployable helmet carry.
Available in S/M for torso lengths of 15 to 18 inches and M/L for 17.5 to 20.5 inches, with dual-density shoulder straps, a stretch pocket for essentials and a stretch-fit webbing waist belt. It has a hydration sleeve with external routing and internal radio routing.
This is our favorite kind of touring pack, simple, light and ready for a quick lap before work.
