Black Diamond Mission MX Mitts Men's 25/26

The Black Diamond Mission MX Mitts are a warm, waterproof mitt from BD's Freeride Series. They use a GORE-TEX liner with Gore Plus Warm technology, PrimaLoft Gold insulation made from recycled polyester and a reinforced goatskin leather palm. They weigh about 220 g.

The trade-off with a mitt is dexterity. Without finger dividers you give up some fine motor control for buckles and zippers, but you gain a lot of warmth, which is why the Mission MX is a favorite for cold resort days and storm skiing.

They are for skiers who run cold or ride in changing winter conditions. The shell is polyester with rip-stop and padding on the back of the hand, and a wrist leash keeps the mitts within reach on the lift.

The insulated cuff is slim enough to fit under a jacket sleeve. Sizes run small to XL; choose your usual glove size.

We love these for frigid January mornings on the Fourrunner Quad, when warm hands make the whole day better.
