The Anomaly 102 is the widest, most freeride-leaning ski in Blizzard's refreshed Anomaly series. It uses a Trueblend Free woodcore of poplar, beech and paulownia for added float and lower swing weight, two sheets of titanal with FluxForm All Mountain construction, and a rocker/camber/rocker profile. At 188 cm it measures 136/102/123 mm with a 19.5 m radius.

The trade-off is that it is built for strong skiers. Two sheets of metal make it super stable at speed and in chop, and it wants to be driven, so a lighter, softer ski will feel easier at slow speeds.

It is for advanced and expert skiers who want one ski for variable snow and bigger days, the kind of skier who might have been on a Cochise. It is easier to coax through chop or bend into a tight chute than you would expect from a ski this stable.

Partial twin tip with a sintered base. Stop by and we will help you pick the right length for your height, weight and style.

We think the Anomaly 102 is a fantastic daily driver for storm days and the chopped-up snow that follows, powerful and fun from first chair to last.

This guide is for alpine (downhill) skis. Ski length depends on your height, your ability, and how you like to ski. Use this chart as a starting point, then talk to us about the ski itself: rocker, width, and turn shape all change how long a ski feels.

Quick Rule

  • Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
  • Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
  • Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
  • Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.

Adjust For

  • Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
  • Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
  • Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
