The Canvas 100 is the narrowest ski in Blizzard's new Canvas series, a fun-forward ski born from art. The topsheet art is by Penelope Misa using monotype printing, which creates one-of-a-kind prints. It has a 100 mm waist, a light sandwich construction with full sidewalls, a poplar and paulownia core and a powder rocker profile. It weighs 1790 g at 180 cm.

The trade-off of a light, poppy ski is that it is built to surf and smear rather than bulldoze. It can still rail on hard snow when called on, but a heavier ski will feel calmer at high speed in chop.

It is for skiers who want to jib, butter, pivot and float, owning the space between all-mountain and park.

Unisex, sized from 162 to 186 cm. Stop by and we will help you pick the right length.

We think the Canvas 100 is one of the most fun skis in the shop, made for skiing like it is personal.

This guide is for alpine (downhill) skis. Ski length depends on your height, your ability, and how you like to ski. Use this chart as a starting point, then talk to us about the ski itself: rocker, width, and turn shape all change how long a ski feels.

Quick Rule

  • Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
  • Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
  • Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
  • Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.

Adjust For

  • Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
  • Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
  • Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
