The Canvas 108 is a new freeride ski from Blizzard, part of a line born from art and led by Blizzard-Tecnica's freeride athletes. The topsheet art is by Penelope Misa using monotype printing, which creates one-of-a-kind prints. It has a 108 mm waist, a poplar and paulownia core in a light sandwich full-sidewall construction, and a powder rocker profile with radii from 16 m at 168 cm to 20 m at 192 cm.

The trade-off of a playful, lightweight freeride ski is that it favors fun and creativity over all-out hard-snow grip. It is at home in soft snow and big terrain, while a heavier, metal-laden ski will feel more locked in on ice.

It is for skiers who do not follow tracks and would rather paint their own lines, from powder to big-mountain terrain.

Unisex, sized from 168 to 192 cm. We are happy to help you choose the right length.

We love the Canvas 108 as an expressive daily driver for soft-snow days, and every pair looks a little different.

This guide is for alpine (downhill) skis. Ski length depends on your height, your ability, and how you like to ski. Use this chart as a starting point, then talk to us about the ski itself: rocker, width, and turn shape all change how long a ski feels.

Quick Rule

  • Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
  • Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
  • Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
  • Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.

Adjust For

  • Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
  • Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
  • Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
