The Zero G 96 W is Blizzard's women's touring ski, developed by the W2W team. It has a 96 mm waist, a lightweight paulownia and poplar core, a rocker/camber/rocker profile, and less carbon in its glass carbon pre-preg layup, with a dense ash wood insert underfoot in place of a titanal binding insert.

The trade-off is that it is built for the uphill as much as the downhill. It is light and predictable on long tours, while a heavier resort ski will feel more planted at speed on hardpack.

It is for women who want a stable, predictable touring ski, from remote couloirs to early-morning uphill laps. Blizzard designed it around performance, security and accessibility.

Sized from 157 to 178 cm. Stop by and we will help you pick the right length and pair it with a touring binding.

We think the Zero G 96 W is a fantastic touring ski for women who want confidence on every descent and a light setup for every climb.

This guide is for alpine (downhill) skis. Ski length depends on your height, your ability, and how you like to ski. Use this chart as a starting point, then talk to us about the ski itself: rocker, width, and turn shape all change how long a ski feels.

Quick Rule

  • Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
  • Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
  • Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
  • Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.

Adjust For

  • Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
  • Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
  • Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
