Rover Skins 125mm

The Big Sky Mountain Products Rover is a 100% nylon climbing skin in a 125mm width, supplied in a universal length up to 200cm for custom trimming. It comes with pre-attached tails and clips, a wire tip connector built for standard ski tips, and a Quick-Snap tail clip that adjusts up to 20cm.

The trade-off is setup time. These arrive as a trim-to-fit kit, so expect to spend a little time with the included utility knife and hole punch nail getting them matched to your skis before the first tour.

Rover is for touring skiers who want durable, dependable nylon grip on the skin track and like having a skin they can fit to their own setup.

Both width and length trim down to your specific skis, and the adjustable tail clip accommodates a range of ski shapes. The kit includes tip connectors, rivets, a hole punch nail, skin wax, a utility knife and a sticker, so everything needed for fitting is in the box.

The self-renewing glue is built to hold in the cold over repeated use, and we think that makes Rover a great everyday skin for a full Vermont touring season.
