The Dalbello Quantum Free Asolo Factory 130 is a very stiff, light touring boot from Dalbello's Asolo, Italy factory that tours exceptionally well and skis with more power than most boots in its weight class.
It uses Dalbello's hemispherical construction, molding the polyamide composite shell in two halves that are fused together for a lighter, more freely designed shell. The Dual Link cuff gives a huge 65 degree range of motion with good lateral support, so you rarely need to loosen the top buckle or power strap to climb.
It uses real ultralight Free buckles, with the top buckle reversed, plus a cinch power strap. The 100mm last is fairly roomy with plenty of space over the toes.
The IF Touring Pro liner is fully customizable, and the Vibram dual density ISO 9523 touring sole has integrated tech fittings. This boot is size 26/26.5.
It is an outstanding boot for long tours where you still want to ski the descent hard.
