The Dynafit Radical 24 is a compact ski touring pack for quick day tours, built to carry your essentials and keep avalanche gear organized. It holds 24 liters, weighs about 900 g and has an aluminum internal frame. The main compartment opens through the back panel for fast loading, with a side zip for quick access.
The trade-off of a 24-liter pack is space. It is sized for a day of laps with layers, food, water and your rescue kit, so long tours with extra clothing or overnight gear call for something bigger.
It is for ski tourers who want a light, organized pack for dawn patrol and day missions. There is an avalanche gear organizer, a padded goggle pocket, a front pocket, a hip belt pocket, a helmet holder with net and an ice axe and pole holder.
Padded shoulder straps, a padded hip belt and a height-adjustable sternum strap keep it stable on the descent, and it fits waists and hips from 28 to 48 inches. You can carry skis or a snowboard on the outside, it is hydration compatible and it comes with a whistle and compression straps.
We think the Radical 24 is the perfect grab-and-go pack for a few laps before work or a full day in the backcountry.
