The Fischer AeroGuide Skate 75 is an entry-level skate ski built around Fischer's Air Core Basalite Pro core, with dual base grooves and an improved sidecut that adds control and balance under the foot.
It comes as a set with the Fischer Race Skate IFP binding included, so it is ready to ski once it is mounted on the plate.
The trade-off is speed. It is a softer ski designed for relaxed cruising rather than racing, so strong, competitive skaters will want something stiffer. For skiers learning to skate, the softer flex is a big help: it is more forgiving and easier to balance on.
It is for beginner and intermediate skate skiers who want a ski that feels smooth and stable while they build technique, and for anyone who wants an easygoing ski for fitness laps on groomed trails.
Length depends mainly on body weight. Shorter lengths give a bit more grip on climbs and longer lengths glide faster, so stop by and we will size it to you.
We think the AeroGuide is a great way to get into skate skiing on the groomed trails around Stowe.
