The women's RC5 skate BOA. This is a different last rather than a colourway, narrower through the heel and lower in the cuff to sit better on most women's calves. Same BOA dial and steel cable closure, same lateral stiffness.
Cuff height is the part that matters most. A cuff that is too tall hits the calf muscle and starts hurting within a kilometre, and no amount of adjustment fixes it. The narrower heel holds the foot better, though a wider foot may find it tight.
For women skating regularly who have struggled with cuff height or heel hold in a standard boot. Anyone who already fits well in the unisex last has no reason to switch.
Worth trying both this and the standard version if you are between fits. Plenty of people do better in the standard last and there is no rule that says otherwise.
When the cuff height is right, the difference in how long you can ski comfortably is immediate and obvious.
