78mm at the shovel, Crown base plus Easy Skin compatibility, steel edge, Xtralite core. A real step up in float from the Outback without going all the way to an S-Bound.
Width costs glide. This ski does not fit in set track and is not trying to, and on a long flat road it will feel slower than a narrower Offtrack ski. What comes back is flotation in soft snow and enough stability to stay composed on a descent.
Buy it if your days are mostly in the woods with the occasional trail connection. If that is reversed and you are mostly on trails, the Outback 68 is the better ski for you.
Nordic sizing runs long, and weight matters as much as height once you are off track and breaking trail. We will fit you properly rather than going off a chart.
In Vermont woods after a storm, when the snow is deep enough that a 68 sinks and you are breaking trail all day, this is the ski that makes it enjoyable.
