The Hestra Army Leather Heli Ski Glove was originally created for ski guides in western Canada who needed a reliable, warm glove for long days in snow and cold. It pairs durable Army goat leather with a Hestra Triton three-layer polyamide backhand that is windproof and breathable, with G-Loft insulation and a removable Bemberg fleece liner.
The trade-off is a longer, more serious glove than a short-cuff model. That long collar has a snowlock that, together with a Velcro wrist strap, keeps warmth in and snow out. Hestra rates it 6 out of 8 for warmth, 6 out of 8 for mobility and 7 out of 8 for durability.
It is for skiers who spend all day outside, far from the lodge. The liner swaps out if it gets damp, a wrist strap keeps the glove with you, and an included carabiner and pinky eyelet let you hang it upside down on your harness or pants so it stays free of snow while you work in thin liners.
Hestra uses numbered sizes. Stop by and we will help you find the right fit.
