The Hestra Fall Line Mitt is the warm mitten version of Hestra's short-cuff freeride glove. It is made of durable, impregnated cowhide with outseams for comfort and a better pole grip, and inside it has a removable 5-finger brushed polyester liner with G-Loft insulation and foam for warmth and stability.
The trade-off of any mitt is dexterity. Hestra rates the Fall Line Mitt 7 out of 8 for warmth and 3 out of 8 for mobility, so it is the pick for cold hands, while the 5-finger liner keeps your fingers separate inside for a little more control.
It is for skiers and riders whose hands run cold on the lift but who still like a short cuff that tucks under the sleeve. The neoprene cuff with Velcro closure seals up neatly, a wrist strap keeps the mitt with you when it is off, and an included carabiner clips the pair to your jacket or pack.
Hestra sizes mitts by number, the same as its gloves. The liner comes out to dry and wash, so it is easy to keep fresh through a long season. Stop by and try one on.
We love the Fall Line Mitt for the coldest chairlift days, when warm hands make the whole day better.
