The Hestra Women's Fall Line Mitt is Hestra's warm freeride mitten in a women's version, with a slimmer cut to fit narrower hands. It is sewn in hardwearing treated cowhide with a pre-curved fit for comfort and good pole grip, and it has a removable synthetic liner plus foam insulation for warmth and stability.
The trade-off of a mitt is less finger dexterity than a glove. In exchange it is noticeably warmer, which makes it the right choice for anyone whose fingers get cold on long lift rides.
It is for women who ski on and off piste and are happy to hike a bit to find fresh snow. A wrist strap reduces the chance of dropping a mitt when you take it off, and an included carabiner lets you clip the pair to a jacket or backpack when they are not on your hands.
Hestra sizes mitts by number, and the women's cut runs slimmer through the hand than the unisex Fall Line Mitt. The liner comes out to dry and wash. Stop by the shop and try one on to dial in the fit.
We love the Women's Fall Line Mitt for frigid mornings, storm days and anyone who wants warm hands from first chair to last.
