The Hestra Gore-Tex Atlas Jr. Mitt is a practical mitten for active kids. A waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane combines with Fiberfill insulation to keep hands dry and warm in wet snow and cold weather, the top of the mitt is tough Hestra Niak polyester, and the palm is PU-coated for good grip.
The trade-off of a mitt is less finger control than a glove. In return it is warmer, which makes it extra suitable for kids prone to cold hands, and Hestra rates it 6 out of 8 for warmth and 3 out of 8 for mobility.
It is for kids who are outside all winter, from ski lessons and powder days to sledding and snow forts. A Velcro wrist strap keeps the fit snug, and there are attachments for Hestra handcuffs so a mitt never goes missing off the chairlift.
Hestra sizes kids' mitts by number, and the Atlas Jr. Mitt is machine washable, which parents appreciate after a muddy spring day. Bring your kids in and we will find the right size.
We think the Atlas Jr. Mitt is a fantastic mitten for kids, built to keep the whole day fun from first run to hot chocolate.
