The Hestra Women's Army Leather Heli Ski Glove is Hestra's legendary guide glove with a slimmer cut for narrower hands. It is sewn in the same hardwearing combination as the men's version, Army goat leather with a windproof, breathable three-layer polyamide backhand, plus G-Loft insulation, a removable Bemberg fleece liner and Box Finger construction.
The trade-off is a longer, more serious glove than a short-cuff model. In return, the long cuff with snowlock and wrist adjustment keeps powder on the outside. Hestra rates it 6 out of 8 for warmth and 6 out of 8 for mobility.
It is for women who spend long days outside and cannot head in to warm up often. The liner is easy to remove and dry, or swap for a thinner inner glove on the climb. A wrist strap keeps the glove with you, and an included carabiner lets you hang it upside down so it stays free of snow.
Hestra uses numbered sizes, and the women's cut runs slimmer through the hand. Stop by and try one on.
We think this is one of the best women's ski gloves made, as tough on a long tour as it is on a cold resort day.
