Hestra Women's Army Leather Heli Ski Mitt 26/27

The Hestra Women's Army Leather Heli Ski Mitt is the warmest women's version of Hestra's classic guide glove, with a narrower cut for narrower hands. The outer is a hardwearing, weather-resistant combination of Army goat leather and three-layer polyamide fabric, with G-Loft insulation and a removable brushed polyester liner.

The trade-off of a mitt is dexterity. Like all mitten versions it gives the fingers plenty of space, which makes it warmer than the matching glove, and Hestra rates it 8 out of 8 for warmth and 3 out of 8 for mobility.

It is for women whose hands get cold and who spend long days outside. The liner is easy to remove and dry, or swap for a thinner inner glove when you are hiking uphill. The long cuff with snowlock and wrist adjustment keeps snow out, a wrist strap keeps the mitt with you, and an included carabiner lets you hang it upside down.
