The Hestra Wakayama Glove is a retro-inspired leather ski glove for skiers and snowboarders. It is made of cowhide with outseams along the fingers, which gives it a distinct look while improving freedom of motion and grip. A removable wool terry liner, 90 percent wool and 10 percent polyamide, keeps hands warm on cold days.
The trade-off is a wool liner instead of a heavily insulated one. Wool stays comfortable over a wide range of temperatures and comes out easily to dry, and Hestra rates the glove 5 out of 8 for warmth and 6 out of 8 for mobility.
It is for skiers who want one warm, good-looking glove that works from early season laps to late spring snow, and it looks just as good around town. A paracord adjusts the wrist opening, a neoprene cuff on the inside of the wrist keeps the fit comfortable, and a wrist strap keeps it with you on the lift.
Hestra uses numbered sizes, and the wool liner comes out easily to dry. Stop by and we will help you find your size.
We think the Wakayama is one of the most stylish ski gloves out there, and it is warm and tough enough to wear every day.
