This Hestra glove is the Army Leather GORE-TEX, Hestra's legendary Heli-style glove with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX insert added.

The backhand is Hestra's Triton three-layer polyamide, which is waterproof, windproof and very breathable, paired with Army goat leather, Hestra's most durable leather, originally made for military gloves and thoroughly waterproofed. The GORE-TEX insert is a thin membrane that lets heat and body moisture escape while keeping outside water from getting in.

A soft fiberfill insulation and Bemberg polyester lining keep it warm, and the snow lock cuff with Velcro closure seals out snow. A carabiner and handcuff wrist leashes are included. Hestra's Eagle Grip palm detail helps you hold poles securely, and it is an over-the-cuff glove that seals well over a jacket sleeve.

To keep the leather in good shape, dry it at room temperature and grease it regularly. Sizes are Hestra numbers.

It is an excellent pick for wet, snowy places like Vermont where a leather glove needs serious waterproofing.
