Laetts was started by a skier and a yarn innovator around two complaints every one of us has had: socks that are not warm enough, and boots that are a fight to get on.

The answer is two US patents working together. HygroHeat uses FIR-emitting ceramic particles to reflect body heat back at your foot, at an emission rate 23% higher than standard FIR. Lab tested to keep feet up to 8.8 degrees C warmer than leading ski sock brands, and it does it without bulk.

BootGlide is the other half. Low-friction yarn zones knit into the heel and instep so the boot slides on and off instead of grabbing and bunching. If you have ever sat in the lodge fighting a liner, this is the sock that fixes it.

Underneath both is the Merino Thermal System, a 50/50 blend of merino and engineered yarns. You get the softness, breathability, and odor control of merino with the durability of technical fiber.

The Ultralight is the thinnest in the line. An ultra-thin profile for precise foot-to-boot contact, which is what racers and anyone in a tight liner wants. Over the calf. Designed and engineered in the USA.
