The Shadow 120 MV GW is Lange's reworked overlap boot in a 100 mm medium-volume last with a 120 flex, and GW means it comes with GripWalk soles. The polyurethane shell and cuff use Lange's Dual Core construction, and the Assisted Performance System pairs a long Suspension Blade with a Dual Pivot, which Lange says boosts your input by up to 26%.
The trade-off is that a 120 flex is a stiff, powerful boot. It rewards an aggressive stance, and skiers with a lighter touch will get more out of a softer flex in the same family.
It is built for confident skiers with average-width feet who want real power and a smooth, progressive flex without the squeeze of a race-style last. It skis groomers, bumps and soft snow with the same easy energy.
The Core Custom 2 liner with Auxetic Technology and a Reactive Boost Tongue gives a comfortable, customizable fit, closed up by four micro aluminum buckles and a 45 mm power strap. External canting adjustment helps dial in your stance, and GripWalk soles make walking easier. Come see us for a boot fitting to get the size right.
We think the Shadow 120 MV is a superb everyday boot for a strong skier, smooth and powerful with energy to spare at the end of every turn.
Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Half Sizes
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
