The Haldigrat GTX HS Thermo Pants are Mammut's insulated freeride pants, a GORE-TEX shell paired with Polartec Alpha active insulation for sub-zero days at the resort or in the backcountry. The 70D recycled polyamide face has a 28,000 mm water column and a RET under 13, and they weigh 625 g.
The trade-off is built-in warmth. Polartec Alpha breathes well and the two side vents help, but on warm spring days or long climbs an uninsulated pant runs cooler.
They are for skiers and riders who run cold or spend long days on the chair. Four zippered pockets stay reachable even while you are sitting on the lift, and the integrated RECCO reflector adds rescue searchability.
Snow Sports Regular fit with an adjustable waist and integrated belt, a concealed fly with zipper and jeans button, two hand pockets, two leg pockets, integrated snow gaiters with anti-slip grip, snap-adjustable leg width and Cordura ski edge protection.
We think the Haldigrat Thermo Pants are the answer to frozen January chairlifts, warm, dry and ready for deep days.
