The Stoney HS Thermo Hooded Jacket is Mammut's best-selling all-mountain insulated ski jacket, redesigned from the ground up. It pairs a Mammut DRY Tour 2-layer waterproof laminate (15,000 mm water column, 20,000 g/m²/24h breathability) with zoned 80 g/m² recycled Ajungilak OTI Element insulation, all in a fully recycled 75D polyester fabric. It weighs 1049 g.
The trade-off of an insulated shell is that the warmth is built in. That is exactly what you want on cold lift days, but on a long skin track a lighter uninsulated shell plus layers gives you more control. For resort skiing in a Vermont winter, built-in warmth is hard to beat.
It is for skiers who want one warm, waterproof jacket for the whole season. X-shaped pit zips, wrist gaiters and a detachable snow skirt keep you comfortable from cold mornings to deep days.
Snow sports regular fit with room for layers. It has a helmet-compatible, 1-point adjustable hood, two chest pockets, a sleeve pocket, inside zip and mesh pockets, hook-and-loop cuffs and an adjustable hem.
We think the Stoney is one of the best resort jackets out there, warm, dry and ready for every chair from first lifts to last light.
