The Arctic IV ML Hooded Jacket is Mammut's cozy hooded fleece, made from Polartec Thermal Pro, a lofted 100% polyester fleece that is soft, quick drying, durable and resistant to pilling. It weighs 550 g and carries the bluesign PRODUCT and Fair Wear labels.

The trade-off is breathability. The lofted structure is built to hold warmth, so it shines on cold lift days and around town rather than on a hard push uphill, where a thinner grid fleece vents better.

It is for skiers who want a warm layer under a shell on the coldest days and something comfortable to pull on afterwards. The flat seams keep it from chafing under a backpack, and the warmth-to-weight is excellent for a fleece this plush.
