Alpinist Brake

Marker Alpinist brakes are add-on brakes for the brakeless Marker Alpinist 9 and 12, or for changing brake width on the Alpinist 12 Long Travel. The Alpinist is one of Marker's lightest tech bindings, and these brakes let you add a brake without giving up that light, simple design.

They let you set up an Alpinist with a brake for resort days or for skiers who prefer a brake over a leash. A brake keeps your ski from running away if you fall or step out on a slope, which many skiers like for mixed resort and touring days.

Choose a brake width equal to your ski's waist or up to 15mm wider. Available in 90 and 115mm. The 90mm brake suits narrower touring skis, and the 115mm brake covers most modern all-mountain and freeride touring skis.

They are a simple way to make a light Alpinist touring setup more versatile. Pairing the right brake with your binding takes only a few minutes in the shop.
