Baron Epf Binding 110 L

The Marker Baron EPF 13 is a frame touring binding for skiers who refuse to compromise on the way down. It uses the same Triple Pivot toe and Inter Pivot 3 Freeride heel that you find on Marker's alpine bindings, so it skis with the power and retention of a resort binding.
For the climb, the frame unlocks so the heel can rise, and a two-position climbing aid (7 and 13 degrees) flips up easily with a pole basket. Elastomer pads damp the impact so you avoid the classic frame clack on the skin track.
Marker's Hollow Tech frame base plate is fiber reinforced and gas injected, which keeps weight down while adding stability. The EPF (Extended Power Frame) adds power transfer and is recommended for skis over 88mm underfoot.
Sole.ID lets a shop adjust the binding for alpine, AT, GripWalk and WTR soles, so it works with most boots. It is a great choice for a first backcountry setup or for resort-heavy skiers who want sidecountry access.
