The Marker F12 Tour EPF is a frame touring binding that skis like a Marker alpine binding, with a frame that unlocks so the heel can rise for skinning.
It is one of the lightest frame AT bindings, and the familiar alpine-style release makes it a natural choice for skiers who split time between lift and self-powered skiing. The trade-off of a frame binding is more weight and less natural stride on the climb than a tech binding.
The wide Extended Power Frame and Hollow Linkage heel transfer energy precisely, and Marker recommends the EPF for skis over 88mm. A Triple Pivot Light toe gives precise release.
Sole.ID lets an authorized shop set the binding for alpine, touring, GripWalk and WTR soles. This is the Large frame with a 110mm brake, so check your boot sole length with us before mounting.
For one-quiver skiers who want resort power and sidecountry access on the same setup, the F12 Tour EPF is an awesome option.
