Kingpin 13 Binding 75-100 Red/Black

The Marker Kingpin 13 combines a tech toe piece with an alpine-style heel, for natural, lightweight touring on the way up and powerful, intuitive skiing on the way down.

It is the binding for skiers who tour to ski hard. The trade-off versus a pure tech binding is a little more weight, in exchange for much better power transfer and release on the descent.

The Kingpin heel uses wide sole contact points for direct power transfer, with vertical and lateral release adjustable independently. Climbing aids at 7 and 13 degrees are easy to flip with a pole.

It requires boots with tech inserts. This is the 75 to 100mm brake size, and Marker recommends it for skiers under 260 lbs. It is compatible with Kingpin and Alpinist crampons.

For backcountry freeriders who want real downhill performance on a touring setup, the Kingpin 13 is a fantastic binding.
