It is cut from Merino Flex, Mons Royale's stretch merino fabric. Merino Flex is 81 percent merino wool, 12 percent nylon and 7 percent elastane at 180gsm. The merino regulates temperature, wicks moisture and resists odour, and the four-way stretch keeps its shape and bounces back on the move.

The slim fit sits close to the skin so it works under a mid layer or shell, with flatlock seams to prevent rubbing, thumb loops to keep the sleeves in place and a straight hem.

At 180gsm it is a versatile everyday weight rather than a heavy expedition layer. On the coldest days, pair it with a warm mid layer.
