Mons Royale Santa Rosa Merino Balaclava Burnt Sage

The Mons Royale Santa Rosa is a unisex merino balaclava built for cold chairlift rides and stormy days. This one comes in Burnt Sage.

It is made from Merino Flex. Merino Flex is 81 percent merino wool, 12 percent nylon and 7 percent elastane at 180gsm. The merino regulates temperature, wicks moisture and resists odour, and the four-way stretch keeps its shape and bounces back on the move.

A hinged construction lets you wear it over the nose on cold days or around your chin when you want to talk, and a drop front neckline seals in warmth. It has a ponytail hole and is compatible with a helmet.

The slim fit and 180gsm fabric keep it light under a helmet. On the very coldest days, a heavier balaclava like the Olympus adds more warmth.

For powder mornings, windy lifts and long days out, the Santa Rosa is a comfortable merino layer you will want in your pocket all winter.
