mountainFLOW eco-wax CorkPro Ski Pole

The CORKpro is mountainFLOW's recycled aluminum ski pole, the industry's first. It is made from space-grade 7075 aluminum with the same strength, weight and corrosion resistance as virgin aluminum, and mountainFLOW says it is twice as strong as poles made with 6061 aluminum. The shaft is 16 mm in diameter and poles are sold as a pair.

The manufacturing process emits 95% less carbon than virgin aluminum, and the grips are made from up-cycled wine corks. The trade-off is that a fixed-length pole cannot be shortened for the skin track, so touring skiers who want adjustability should look at an adjustable model.

It is for resort skiers who want a lightweight, durable pole with a smooth swing weight and a smaller footprint. The ergonomic cork grips feel great in the hand, and the padded strap is built for long days on the hill.
