The Unleashed 106 is Nordica's all-new 106 mm freeride ski for 2026/27, with a fresh rocker profile and new tip and tail shapes. It is built on a Lite Performance poplar wood core with carbon stringers and Nordica's new Drift Lock Technology, a single strip of metal tailored to the waist of the ski. Turn radius runs from 16.7 m at 171 cm to 19.2 m at 190 cm.
The trade-off of a 106 mm waist is quickness edge to edge on hardpack. It holds an edge well thanks to that strip of metal, and skiers who live on groomers will find a narrower ski more nimble.
It is built for skiers who want one wide ski for the whole mountain: gliding across groomers, threading through the trees and floating in deep snow. The Freeride Flow Shape pairs early rise in the tip and tail with camber underfoot, and the partial twin tip makes smears and slashes easy.
Wood and carbon bring energy and pop to every turn, while Drift Lock adds the control to smear, slash or hold an edge when it matters. Come talk with us about length and the right binding to match how you ski.
We think the Unleashed 106 is an awesome ski-it-all freeride ski for big days and powder mornings.
This guide is for alpine (downhill) skis. Ski length depends on your height, your ability, and how you like to ski. Use this chart as a starting point, then talk to us about the ski itself: rocker, width, and turn shape all change how long a ski feels.
