Cross Rider 20 S 26/27

The Cross Rider is Ortovox's lightweight ski touring and freeride pack. A separate shovel and probe compartment keeps emergency gear off your back but still within reach, and the main compartment opens from both front and back. A thermoformed back panel, ergonomic shoulder straps and a hip belt carry the load.

It is stripped down rather than feature-heavy, which is why it is light and why it carries close. You do not get a back protector or a big top-loading volume, and in exchange it disappears on your back on the descent.

It is for skiers who want the essentials and low weight for day tours and resort sidecountry. If you want built-in spine protection, look at the Free Rider.

The ski fastener takes skis up to 150mm wide, there are attachments for a snowboard or snowshoes and for an ice axe and poles, plus a helmet net, hip pocket, chest strap with a signal whistle and hydration compatibility.
