Free Explore

Pomoca Free Explore skins are built for freeride and backcountry skiers on wider skis. The plush is 100% nylon for strong grip, and the skins use Pomoca's SSL membrane, which is 12% lighter than their classic Safer Skin membrane while staying 100% waterproof, plus the PFC-free Ever Dry 3.0 treatment.

The trade-off with a full nylon plush is glide. Nylon grips better than mohair blends and is very durable, but it does not glide quite as freely on long, flat approaches. On steep skin tracks and wide powder skis, that extra grip is worth it.

They are for skiers who climb steep, set their own tracks and want skins they can trust. Pomoca describes them as lightweight and packable, and they have been made in Switzerland since 1933.

This is the 140 mm width, made for wide powder skis. Trim them to your ski's sidecut so the edges stay exposed.
