Rossignol Force 5 Racing Nordic Poles 25/26

The Rossignol Force 5 is a telescopic, two-piece pole built from 7075 aluminum with 16 mm and 14 mm shaft sections. It adjusts from 90 to 150 cm with a quick-adjust locking lever, and it has a foam BC grip with a thermo sleeve, a steel tip and a generous RB-85 rotational powder basket.

The trade-off is that an adjustable aluminum pole gives up a little swing weight and stiffness compared with a fixed-length carbon racing pole. In return you get one pole you can shorten for climbs, lengthen for flats and descents and share between skiers.

It is for backcountry Nordic skiers and touring skiers who head off groomed trails into deeper snow, where the big basket and adjustable length really help.

One size covers 90 to 150 cm. Set it a little shorter for climbing and longer for gliding.

We think the Force 5 is a great companion for exploring the backcountry Nordic trails of the Green Mountains.
