The Rossignol X-8 Skate FW is a performance-oriented cross-country skate boot built to deliver race-inspired precision without demanding full World Cup stiffness. It uses Dual Core technology for responsive skate performance, a skate-specific sole for efficient foot roll, and a thermo-moldable liner with Wintherm insulation.

The honest trade-off is specialization. This boot is tuned specifically for skate skiing, so classic and touring skiers will be better served by a boot built for those styles.

It is for intermediate to advanced skate skiers who want a step toward race performance and precise power transfer on groomed trails.

The X-8 runs true to size with a performance fit that tends toward a narrower profile. Skiers with wider feet should consider heat-molding the liner or sizing up, and we are happy to help with that in the shop.
